Working Student IT

Your mission We are looking for a motivated IT Working Student to support our internal IT operations at Hypatos. You will work closely with our IT and Security teams, supporting daily operations while gaining hands-on experience in a modern, cloud-first SaaS environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• •Provide first-level hardware and software support for Hypatos employees
• •Support the administration of our Microsoft 365 environment
• •Provide internal IT support for Line-of-Business applications, including:
• •Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Office
• •Jira and Confluence
• •Slack
• •Security tools such as password managers
• •MDM solutions
• •Other business-critical SaaS applications

• •Assist with user onboarding and offboarding workflows (accounts, access, devices)
• •Support hardware asset inventory management and tracking
• •Assist with the implementation and operation of IT and security controls under guidance from the Head of Information Security.
• •Contribute to documentation of IT processes, procedures, and internal guides
• •Participate in IT improvement and planning discussions
• •Help automate repetitive IT tasks using simple workflows, scripts, or tool integrations

• Your profile
• •Currently pursuing a degree in IT or a related field or comparable qualifications with relevant professional experience
• •Basic hands-on experience with Windows and macOS operating systems and end-user hardware
• •Strong interest in IT operations and modern SaaS environments; first exposure to Microsoft 365 administration is a plus
• •Interest in IT security topics and willingness to learn about security tools and best practices
• •Good problem-solving skills and a structured, reliable working style
• •Ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical users
• •Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken)
• •Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks over time
