  • Lead a high performing workshop team to deliver safe, efficient, and quality rebuild and rubber lining services that support customer success and business growth. Working closely with the Service Centre Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, champion safety and lean practices, and ensure operational targets are achieved across productivity, quality, and cost performance.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 15 across mechanical rebuilds, stores, and blast & paint operations to meet workshop priorities and customer demand.
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, including service orders, job packs, SAP MRP reporting, time verification, and budget control.
  • Build strong customer relationships, ensuring service expectations are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Drive safety, quality, lean initiatives, ISO compliance, and continuous improvement across the service centre.
  • Develop workforce capability through training, performance management, preventative maintenance oversight, and effective resource planning
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected; primarily onsite presence required to manage workshop operations effectively.

What you’ll bring

  • 8-10 years’ experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or service centre leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cert III in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong systems capability with SAP, Microsoft Office, and effective written communication skills.
  • Current forklift and overhead crane licences, with a strong commitment to safety standards.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, ISO compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to perform under pressure and ideally hold Dangerous Goods, C.o.R, or load restraint certifications.
