2nd Shift Mobile Diesel Technician - Light/Medium Duty Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts: 3pm-2am $40+ per hour AND $2 per hour shift differential Hiring Bonus of up to $6500!

What are the duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• •Familiar with all aspects of light and medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
• •Excellent diagnostic skills
• •Diagnose cause of non-conformance, identify corrective action necessary to correct non-conformance.
• •Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
• •Must be able to use computer diagnostics
• •Good verbal and written communication skills
• •Must be able to work independently
• •Must be able to train for the first ~month on first shift

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• •3+ years' experience
• •Preferred – Diesel or Automotive Program Certificate or degree
• •Experience with some or all of the following engine platforms. Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, LS, Triton, and Godzilla
• •ASE Certifications a big plus.
• •State Inspector License also a big plus

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• •While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• •The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• •The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• •The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• •Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• •Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• •No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• •Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• •CDL a plus
• •Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
• •Company may assist with obtaining additional certificates / licenses
