Shift: 9:30 PM-5:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $23.34 an hour + $.75 shift differential
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor, you will operate a semi-truck and yard tractor to transfer trailers between loading docks and storage locations at the Marshall, Missouri facility. You will support shipping and receiving operations, perform equipment inspections, coordinate with warehouse personnel, and help ensure safe and efficient trailer movement. This is an onsite hourly position requiring flexibility to work any shift or workweek, with overtime based on business needs.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
- Operate a yard tractor and semi-truck to transport trailers between loading docks and yard locations.
- Communicate with loaders and warehouse personnel to identify and position the correct trailers.
- Open and secure trailer doors before loading and unloading activities.
- Connect and disconnect brake lines and trailer couplings.
- Raise and lower trailer landing gear during trailer placement and removal.
- Secure trailers at designated loading dock and storage locations.
- Remove and release fifth-wheel connections when detaching trailers.
- Inspect tractors and trailers for damage, leaks, holes, or maintenance concerns.
- Tag equipment requiring maintenance and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Check vehicle fluids and support daily equipment servicing activities.
- Fuel tractors and ensure equipment readiness.
- Maintain a clean tractor cab and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Follow all safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of manufacturing experience.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Current Department of Transportation physical certification.
- Flexibility to work any shift or workweek based on business needs.
- Successful completion of a post-offer drug screen and background check.
- Frequent driving, sitting, reaching, and climbing during daily operations.
- Commitment to safe equipment operation and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating trailer movements and loading activities.
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
