As an Acceleration Center - Assurance Private - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that evaluates compliance with regulations, including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward isn’t clear. This role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico offers the chance to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving. You will use critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations, all while upholding professional and technical standards.

• Responsibilities:
• - Conducting independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls to enhance credibility and reliability
• - Evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
• - Obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements to identify material misstatements
• - Utilizing auditing methodologies and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to perform external audits
• - Analyzing financial transactions and disclosures to provide insights and recommendations
• - Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial reporting and analysis
• - Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate data integrity and accuracy
• - Managing client relationships and anticipating their needs to deliver quality service
• - Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in technical accounting and auditing practices
• - Leveraging data analysis and interpretation skills to inform audit findings and recommendations

• What You Must Have:
• - At least a Bachelor's degree (Titulado) in the following field of study: Accounting
• - At least 4 years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required
