Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

The purpose of the Government Account Manager role is to ensure and drive the penetration of Key Accounts and their strategic development.

What are you accountable for?

• •Achieve the set financial targets with specific reference to total contract value & billings.
• •Prepare detailed sales strategy outlining the Account Plans, forecasts and pipeline management.
• •Work & engage with internal stakeholders to develop action plans to ensure account strategies are executed upon
• •Accountable for Senior Leadership & C-level engagement strategy to set a strong business foot print in the industry

What do you need to have for this role?

• •Experience in managing Government/ Public Sector customers is an added advantage.
• •Understanding of the Value Chain Analysis with regards to various customer businesses.
• •Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate it as viable appealing market offerings
• •Understanding of business landscape with specific reference to the target market
• •Account Management / Sales Engineer/ Sales Management in at least one of the following areas – ICT system integrators, Telco service providers, technology, engineering, professional service sectors, communications, marketing.
