The RGA Co-Op/Internship Program is committed to providing students with meaningful work and a chance to gain a wide knowledge of the insurance industry and to network with fellow interns and full-time associates. Job Responsibilities:

• - Preparation of calculation, report and analysis for day-to-day inforce collateral monitoring
• - Process automation and documentation enhancement Structured Finance processes using Excel, Python, and SQL
• - Access Bloomberg to extract asset data and update reports on RGA collateral held/pledged assets

- Support the broader Structured Finance team with ad-hoc projects related to risk assessment or financial reporting

Required Skills:

• - Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
• - Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
• - Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

- Experience using GGY AXIS and/or Prophet

• - Experience with SQL language (Microsoft Access, MySQL, DBeaver, ect.)
• - Programming experience in either Python or R
• - Passed at least one or two SOA exam
