Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Chemistry - Chem 351: Organic Chemistry 1 (Salt Lake Center)

Position Start Date: January 6, 2027

Required Degree:

PhD in Chemistry. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Prior teaching or instructional experience in chemistry is preferred. Candidates should have a strong background in organic chemistry and experience working with undergraduate students. College-level teaching experience is beneficial but not required.

Duties/Expectations:

Teach CHEM 351: Organic Chemistry 1, cover the required course material, and follow department guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing lectures, administering and grading assignments and exams, maintaining course grades, and providing reasonable student support. The instructor should communicate with the course coordinator as needed and follow university policies and deadlines.
