About this Role
Looking for an opportunity to grow your career in a highly specialized area of research? Join Altasciences' Developmental & Reproductive Toxicology (DART) team and contribute to studies that help advance life-changing therapies for patients around the world.
Based in beautiful Everett, Washington , this role offers the chance to work alongside leading scientists, veterinarians, and toxicologists in a fast-paced CRO environment. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates interested in making the move to the Pacific Northwest.
What You'll Do Here
- Support fertility, embryo-fetal development (EFD), and pre/postnatal development studies in rats and rabbits.
- Perform animal observations, dosing, biological sample collection, and study procedures.
- Assist with anesthesia, sedation, catheter placement, and reproductive assessments.
- Conduct fetal collections, tissue collection, necropsy activities, and developmental evaluations.
- Maintain accurate study documentation in compliance with GLP regulations, protocols, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Study Directors, Veterinary Services, and Operations teams.
- Support multiple studies while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and data integrity.
What We're Looking For
- A HS diploma and/or GED is required; BS/BA in a scientific discipline preferred.
- 1 – 3 yrs experience working with laboratory animals in a research environment.
- Experience with gestational animal models and/or reproductive toxicology procedures required.
- Proficiency handling rats and/or rabbits and performing research procedures required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
