Job Description:

• Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Radiology & Interventional Radiology
• New York Health/Imaging | Patchogue, NY
• Schedule: Monday-Friday

In this role, you will:

• •Supervise and monitor patients receiving radiology contrast, promptly assessing and addressing concerns or reactions.
• •Conduct pre-procedure calls to review instructions, answer questions, and assess patient readiness.
• •Follow up with patients after procedures to assess recovery, identify potential complications, and reinforce aftercare instructions.
• •Assist with IV placement for imaging studies and procedures as needed.
• •Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• •Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, patient communication, procedure notes, and interventions.

We’re looking for:

• •A master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
• •Active New York State licensure as an NP or PA and applicable national certification.
• •Strong patient assessment, communication, and care coordination skills.
• •The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a procedural setting.
• •Availability to work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• •The ability to assist with patient lifting, movement, and transfers and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
