• •Wage: $33.50 - $50.25 based on year of apprenticeship (2nd – 4th year wages)

Job Description:

• •Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment.
• •Perform inspections and identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues.
• •Use advanced diagnostic tools and technology to efficiently resolve equipment failures.
• •Complete repairs and preventative maintenance to high safety and quality standards.
• •Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide timely service updates.
• •Support a strong safety culture and follow all site and company safety requirements.
• •Deliver exceptional customer service that keeps equipment operating at peak performance.

Qualifications:

• •2nd, 3rd, 4th year apprentices will be considered
• •Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
• •Experience with construction, forestry and mining equipment is an asset
• •Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be beneficial
• •Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

Important Details:

• •This position is based out of Terrace, Monday - Friday (5x2) shift
• •A condition of employment may include the ability to wear a respirator

Union Membership: This is a unionized position. Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire. Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
