Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production operations by assembling precision components used in a variety of technology-based products. Each day, you will work in a clean, organized, and structured environment, following established work instructions to ensure product quality while meeting production objectives.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the production team in Whitby, Ontario, Canada.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Assemble precision components such as wires, sensors, connectors, housings, and other small parts according to established work instructions;
- Perform a variety of manual assembly operations requiring precision and strong manual dexterity;
- Identify and resolve circuit board issues to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Perform circuit board soldering and rework in accordance with quality and safety standards;
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure the quality and conformity of assembled parts.
- Identify and report defects, non-conforming components, or quality concerns to the supervisor;
- Follow manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and production schedules;
- Maintain a consistent work pace while ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality;
- Collaborate with team members to support the smooth execution of production activities.
You will join a collaborative and quality-focused team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the manufacturing of innovative products and support operational excellence.
Qualifications for the Role
- A 3-year technology college diploma in electronics or a related field;
- Experience in electronic, mechanical, or optical assembly within a production environment is considered an asset;
- Experience performing precision manual work requiring attention to detail;
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent productivity and quality;
- Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment;
- Familiarity with quality control and inspection practices;
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documentation;
- Experience working with small, delicate, or precision components.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $48,075 and $70,510 annually.
