6. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Basic Qualifications:

• •Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.
• •Ability in using tools (Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• •Good understanding of quality control procedures
• •Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities:

• •Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
• •Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
• •Use precision tools to measure and assist in the assembly of the engine using both power and manual tools.
• •Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
• •Ensure that all engine fasteners are tightened and torque to the correct value.
• •Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• •Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.
• •Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.
• •Maintain a “Tour Ready” work environment.

7. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• •Excellent hand-eye coordination and physically able to preform position requirements.
• •Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours
• •Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs. repeatability and 80 lbs. occasionally

8. ENVIRONMENT / EQUIPMENT & MACHINERY

This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on assembly area. Regular exposure to noise, oil, paint, lubricants, sealants, cleaning chemicals.
