Analog Devices Federal LLC (ADFED), a wholly owned subsidiary of Analog Devices, Inc., is searching for a 2nd Shift Microelectronics Assembly Training Specialist to support employee development in the manufacture of complex hybrid microelectronic modules for commercial, space, and military applications.
We are looking for a motivated individual to help develop and execute production training programs at our integrated module manufacturing facility in Chelmsford, MA. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RF microelectronics Assembly processes and techniques with strong communication skills and an ability to instruct others. This is a 2nd shift position, 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday, eligible for shift differential.
Responsibilities:
- Train new hires on the basics of integrated module assembly construction including mechanical assembly, soldering to Class 3 per IPC standards, manual and automated die attach, and die/MMIC visual inspection
- Train new hires on material handling procedures, tracking of material using the factory MES system, documentation access, and assembly drawing interpretation.
- Work with subject matter experts to compile, develop, and maintain Assembly Manufacturing process checklists
- Work with personnel to update training documentation to the latest industry practices
- Administer training classes on various focus subjects including manual and automated unit processes
- Assist new hires with online Quality training
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering team to develop rework process documentation and train operations personnel on rework execution
Job Requirements:
- Must be a US CITIZEN
- 5+ years of experience with electro-mechanical assembly required
- IPC J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 solder training certification
- MIL-STD-883 pre-cap visual inspection certification
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Outgoing, enthusiastic, and energetic personality with a positive attitude
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work independently
- Must be able to work across organizational boundaries and with different levels withing the organization constructively, giving and receiving ideas and information

- The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $31 to $43.
- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
