About The Opportunity

We’re hiring a dependable, motivated Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and help lead a high-performing store team. What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Support

• •Assist with supervising, coaching, and training staff
• •Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
• •Help promote a positive, engaged team culture

Store Operations

• •Support daily store operations, including opening and closing duties
• •Manage store communication (email, updates, task assignments)
• •Work closely with the Store Manager on staffing, operational needs, and sales goals

Customer Service & Compliance

• •Check ID and ensure all alcohol sales meet Alberta regulations
• •Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• •Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment

Inventory & Financial Support

• •Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and receiving
• •Review reports and documentation for accuracy
• •Help support store financial targets and controllables

What We’re Looking For

• •2+ years of retail experience
• •2+ years in a supervisory role
• •ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain)
• •Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• •Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
• •Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
