Summary of Job Duties:

The Assistant Professor will focus on building a successful academic career while making meaningful contributions to the discipline, department, and College of Medicine. Primary responsibilities include 95% clinical activity and 5% academic time aligned with college expectations and personal career goals.

Qualifications:

• •Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited institution.
• •Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited internship.
• •Arkansas psychology licensure.

Responsibilities:

• •Provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in alignment with the mission and goals of the College of Medicine.
• •Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, with a focus on addressing the healthcare needs of children in Arkansas.
• •Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
• •Engage in academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the development of educational programs within the College of Medicine.
• •Participate in scholarly activities, such as research, presentations, or quality improvement initiatives, consistent with personal academic goals and College expectations.
