  • The German Client Services unit is part of the global Personal Investing and Advisory Client Services organization.
  • Client Services plays a key role in supporting our clients. The department’s vision is to provide clients and advisers with a seamless, connected experience whenever and however they choose to engage with us.

Your Role

  • As part of our Bereavement Team, you will review and evaluate incoming requests related to the team's specialist areas and ensure they are processed in a structured and efficient manner.
  • You will work closely with clients, their authorized representatives, and internal advisers, supporting them in handling sensitive matters such as:
  • Bereavement cases
  • Guardianship and legal care cases
  • Garnishments and account attachments
  • Insolvency proceedings
  • Managing emotionally and legally sensitive matters requires a high level of empathy, responsibility, and a solid understanding of the relevant legal framework.
  • In addition to daily case management, you will actively contribute to projects and working groups, helping to optimize processes and workflows while supporting the digitalization and automation of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process incoming requests from heirs, pledge creditors, legal guardians, and clients in a structured manner.
  • Review authorization and entitlement documentation for financial transactions.
  • Monitor, approve, and instruct outstanding payments.
  • Develop, evaluate, and support process improvement initiatives to enhance the customer journey.
  • Actively contribute to innovative projects involving new products, processes, and technologies, while continuously improving communication channels and client service delivery.

About You

  • Preferably completed banking apprenticeship/training or a degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Fluent German language skills (professional/business level).
  • Confidence, strong customer focus, and empathy.
  • Experience handling estate/bereavement cases or other sensitive client matters is advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to quality assurance and risk awareness.
  • Excellent team player with a strong customer and service orientation.
