About the position
Shape the future of talent for a world-class Procurement & Sustainability organization.
Procurement & Sustainability is a critical enabler of Kraft Heinz growth, transformation, resilience, innovation and competitive advantage. As Associate Director, People & Performance, you will partner with Global Procurement & Sustainability leaders to build the organization, capabilities and leadership pipeline required for the future.
This is more than a traditional HR Business Partner role. It is a highly visible opportunity at the intersection of business strategy, organizational transformation and talent acceleration, with exposure across global, regional and enterprise leadership teams. The role reports to the Head of People & Performance, GCOE, Supply Chain & Procurement.
What you'll own
Strategic business partnership and organization
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to Global Procurement & Sustainability leaders, translating business priorities into a bold, forward looking people agenda.
- Lead strategic workforce planning and organization design to create agile structures, clear accountabilities and the capabilities needed for growth.
- Guide the people dimensions of transformation, from organization and talent decisions through change adoption and team effectiveness.
Talent, leadership and future capabilities
- Own the integrated talent agenda, including talent reviews, succession, leadership development, critical role pipelines and proactive talent movement.
- Define future capability priorities and build high impact learning, coaching, mentoring, rotational and experiential development opportunities.
- Accelerate internal mobility and career growth, positioning Procurement as a destination for ambitious, high potential talent.
Culture, performance and employee experience
- Build a high performance, inclusive culture where people are empowered, challenged and inspired to grow.
- Turn employee listening and people data into focused engagement, retention and organizational health actions with measurable impact.
- Coach leaders through performance and employee relations matters with sound judgment, empathy and appropriate risk management.
Talent attraction and HR excellence
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and P&P Centers of Excellence to attract exceptional talent and deliver relevant enterprise people priorities.
- Connect global direction with regional execution, using analytics, key performance indicators and disciplined governance to track impact.
- Lead selected people excellence initiatives that simplify work, strengthen capability and raise the standard across the function.
What success looks like
- A strong, diverse leadership pipeline with credible successors for critical Procurement roles.
- A future-ready organization with the structure, skills and talent required to deliver its strategy.
- A best in class talent agenda and measurable progress in engagement, retention, internal mobility and organizational effectiveness.
- Leaders who make stronger people decisions through high-quality insight, challenge and coaching.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Significant progressive experience in strategic HR business partnering, talent or organizational effectiveness, ideally in a complex global environment.
- Demonstrated impact across talent management, succession, leadership development, workforce planning, organization design and change.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people choices to commercial and operational outcomes.
- Exceptional executive influencing, stakeholder management, coaching and communication skills.
- A data-driven, pragmatic mindset and the ability to move multiple priorities from concept to sustained impact. Fluency in written and spoken English.
What sets you apart
- You anticipate tomorrow’s workforce needs rather than only solving today’s issues.
- You thrive in ambiguity, challenge with courage and bring people with you.
- You combine strategic vision with disciplined, pragmatic delivery.
- You are passionate about creating organizations where people and performance thrive together.
Why this role
This is a rare opportunity to shape the people agenda of a strategically important global function, partner closely with senior leaders and influence enterprise decisions. You will help build the organization and capabilities that Procurement & Sustainability needs for the future while gaining broad global and regional exposure.
