- Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week
About the Role
McKesson Canada is seeking an Associate Facilities Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our Mississauga office. This role helps ensure a safe, productive, and well-maintained workplace by coordinating facility services, responding to employee requests, supporting vendors, and assisting with workplace health and safety initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their facilities or workplace services career who enjoys hands-on problem solving, customer service, and facility operations.
What You'll Do:
- Respond to facility-related requests and coordinate timely resolution of workplace issues.
- Conduct routine office walkthroughs to identify maintenance, housekeeping, and safety concerns.
- Support preventative maintenance activities and assist with basic facility repairs and office setups.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers under the direction of facility leadership.
- Assist in managing building access cards, office signage, workspace moves, and employee workspaces.
- Maintain facility records, work orders, invoices, and operational documentation.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives, including inspections and recordkeeping.
- Assist with maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS), workplace inspection records, incident documentation, and first aid logs.
- Support employee onboarding activities, workplace tours, and office-related communications.
- Help maintain inventory of workplace supplies and equipment.
- Deliver responsive customer service to employees, visitors, and business partners.
Basic Requirements:
- 0-2 years of facilities, workplace services, building operations, office services, maintenance, or related experience.
- High school diploma, post-secondary education, trade certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week in Mississauga.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience supporting commercial office facilities or workplace operations.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and workplace compliance requirements.
- Experience coordinating vendors, service providers, or contractors.
- Familiarity with work order management systems.
- Experience supporting office moves, furniture setups, or workplace projects.
- Knowledge of building systems, workplace services, or facilities maintenance.
- First Aid, WHMIS, or Health & Safety training is considered an asset.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- On-site role located at 2300 Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga, ON.
- Ability to move throughout the office and facility environment for inspections and support activities.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools and workplace equipment as required.

$56,800 - $75,700
