What this job involves:

The Associate, Marketing and Communications, serves as a strategic operational partner to LaSalle's Americas marketing team, driving the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated marketing and communications initiatives that elevate our market positioning and fuel commercial growth across the region. In this dynamic role, you'll gain comprehensive exposure to the full spectrum of marketing and communications—from flagship investor events and industry engagement to content development, stakeholder communications, and digital activation. You'll collaborate across functions with marketing, investor relations, product teams, and senior leadership to ensure seamless execution of regional marketing priorities. This is a highly visible opportunity to play an instrumental role in strengthening LaSalle's platform to market with consistency and impact, while building valuable skills in a fast-paced, sophisticated institutional investment environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of LaSalle's flagship annual investor event and regional events calendar, managing all logistical, creative, and stakeholder engagement touchpoints while coordinating vendor relationships and post-event follow-up to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Partner with the Content Lead to develop, draft, and review marketing materials across digital and offline channels—including web content, email campaigns, social media assets, and printed collateral—ensuring alignment with messaging frameworks, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage compliance tracking and approval workflows for all marketing materials, coordinating timely sign-offs and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards before distribution or publication.
  • Draft and schedule social media content across LaSalle's platforms (primarily LinkedIn) to amplify regional presence, events, thought leadership, research insights, and press coverage, while monitoring performance metrics and optimizing engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate public relations activities in partnership with external agencies, supporting media interview preparation, spokesperson positioning, press coverage amplification, and internal communications that align teams around regional priorities and market narratives.
  • Leverage enterprise technology platforms including AI tools (JLL GPT, Claude), project management systems (WorkFront), and marketing technology solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability across content creation, workflow optimization, execution tracking, and reporting.
  • Support advocacy efforts that enable internal stakeholders to represent the Americas market consistently and confidently, ensuring messaging coherence across all communications touchpoints.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing and communications, preferably within financial services, real estate, or institutional investment environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to craft clear, persuasive, and audience-focused content across diverse formats and channels including digital, print, and social media.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, content management systems, social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn), and strong aptitude for learning and adopting new marketing technologies and AI-powered workflow tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with event planning and execution, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement for corporate or industry events.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory approval processes for marketing materials in regulated industries such as financial services or investment management.
  • Understanding of brand messaging, tone of voice, and editorial standards with ability to ensure consistency across all content and communications touchpoints.
  • Experience using project management platforms (such as WorkFront or similar enterprise systems) and AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and improve content quality and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of public relations practices, media relations, and spokesperson support, including experience working with external PR agencies.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying current with emerging marketing trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Interest in or knowledge of commercial real estate, institutional investment, or asset management industries.
