Associate, Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach

Summary:

The New York Mets have two Minor League Strength & Conditioning Associate Coach positions available at multiple sites between Florida and New York for the 2027 season. These positions will give a Strength & Conditioning Coach the opportunity to gain experience in professional baseball while being part of a multi-disciplinary performance department. The associates selected for these roles will have a variety of responsibilities as assigned by the head strength and conditioning coach.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Assist the assigned head strength and conditioning coach in executing training programs

Provide evidence-based training programs under the supervision of the assigned head strength and conditioning coach

Working as part of a coordinated performance department to implement organizational and individual programs

Administrative duties as assigned by the assigned head strength and conditioning coach

Analyze objective testing data to make decisions relating to individualized training programs and interventions

Assist the assigned nutritional duties as needed

Inventory management of strength and conditioning equipment

Qualifications:

NSCA CSCS and CPR/First Aid certification

Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or related degree

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

1+ years’ full-time experience in a similar role
