About The Team

You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Category Expansion & Brand Sourcing – Lead brand sourcing for key categories in the Korean market (K‑fashion, 3C electronics, home appliances & furniture, and food & beverage). Develop and execute category expansion strategies to onboard high‑quality brands.

2. Supply Chain Development – Build and maintain a local Korean supply chain network. Optimize procurement channels to ensure stable product supply and cost advantage.

3. Supplier Relationship Management – Establish long‑term partnerships with upstream brand owners and tier‑1 distributors, and drive deep collaboration (e.g., exclusive items, co‑ marketing , customized development).

4. Cross‑functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams including operations, marketing, logistics, and others to ensure smooth implementation of sourcing projects and improve merchant satisfaction.

5. Industry Monitoring & Competitive Analysis – Track market trends and competitor sourcing strategies. Provide actionable recommendations to continuously enhance the team’s sourcing capabilities.

Requirements:

1. Native Korean proficiency; proficiency in English or Chinese is a plus.

2. Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Marketing, International Trade, E‑commerce, or related fields are preferred, but we are open to all disciplines.

3. 5+ years of experience in business development , procurement, or brand management in the Korean market. Prior experience in e‑commerce platform sourcing/expansion is highly desirable.

4. Strong business negotiation and client development skills , with the ability to independently handle commercial discussions, contract signing, and other key processes.

5. Solid market analysis capabilities – able to accurately interpret market dynamics and formulate effective sourcing strategies. 6. Good project management skills, with a proven track record of driving project progress efficiently and achieving targets.
