Automation Security Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Automation Security Specialist based in India.

• This role focuses on modernizing and securing automation workflows that support critical business processes.
• You will work primarily with Zapier to audit, rebuild, and optimize existing integrations for stronger security and scalability.
• A key focus will be replacing static API-key dependencies with more secure Custom Actions and API Call Actions.
• You will combine development skills with security-focused thinking to ensure workflows remain reliable, maintainable, and efficient.
• The position offers hands-on ownership of automation architecture, API integrations, webhooks, and data handling.
• You will collaborate with technology and security teams while working independently in a fully remote environment.
• It is well suited to an experienced automation specialist who enjoys solving technical problems and improving systems for long-term use.
