Sales Manager Responsibilities:

• •Lead, coach, mentor, and develop New and Used Vehicle Sales teams
• •Drive department profitability and vehicle sales performance
• •Desk deals and assist sales associates in closing transactions
• •Monitor inventory, pricing strategy, and market trends
• •Maintain high standards for customer satisfaction and retention
• •Recruit, hire, and train top automotive sales talent
• •Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards
• •Partner with Finance, BDC, and Fixed Operations teams to maximize performance
• •Track KPIs, sales metrics, and departmental productivity
• •Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance sales culture

Qualifications:

• •Automotive sales management experience required
• •Previous Honda or import-brand experience preferred
• •Proven track record of driving sales volume and profitability
• •Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
• •Experience with CRM systems, desking tools, and digital retailing platforms
• •Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• •Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• •Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
