Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department team. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day service operations, ensure customers receive clear communication and outstanding service, and help the department run efficiently and profitably.

Compensation

• •$120,000.00–$150,000.00 annually, based on experience
• •Base Salary + Commission

Responsibilities

• •Lead and support the service department team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• •Greet and communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns, diagnoses, and repair recommendations
• •Oversee diagnosis and repair processes to ensure accuracy and quality
• •Keep customers updated throughout the service process, from drop-off to delivery
• •Manage service department scheduling, workflow, and productivity
• •Monitor department performance, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• •Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership service standards
• •Coach and develop service advisors and technicians

Requirements

Qualifications

• •3+ years of experience in automotive service or a dealership service department required; management experience preferred
• •Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
• •Technical/trade school diploma or ASE certifications preferred
• •Strong customer service skills
• •Strong computer skills
• •Strong math skills
• •High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
• •Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
