Backend Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Backend Engineer based in Ireland.

• Join a small, ambitious product team building technology that helps hundreds of thousands of users better understand and manage their finances.
• You’ll play a key role in developing the central API and backend services that power data, calculations, and core product experiences.
• The role is primarily focused on Node.js and TypeScript , with a strong emphasis on API design, data modeling, performance, and developer experience.
• You’ll take ownership of backend systems as products in their own right, ensuring they remain intuitive, reliable, scalable, and fast.
• Your work will span both scaling established products and rapidly validating new ideas through MVPs and experiments.
• You’ll collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product colleagues in a fully remote, asynchronous, and flexible environment.
