Banquet Set up - Full Time - Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel at Keystone Crossing - $17/hr

Description

• •Comply at all times with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
• •Ensure the correct and timely setup of all Banquet Event Order functions.
• •Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout banquet function spaces, pre-function areas, and storage rooms, including carpets, walls, windows, and heating/air conditioning units.
• •Keep the banquet storeroom organized and stocked with necessary supplies for meetings or food service functions.
• •Be familiar with fire exits and extinguisher locations, and adhere to all hotel safety rules.
• •Break down function setups after completion and properly store all equipment and supplies.
• •Notify management of any hazards or safety concerns.
• •Perform other tasks or jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• •High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• •Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record, property-specific driving).
• •Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly.
• •Must be able to evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• •Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• •Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
