ABOUT TOPGOLF
Topgolf is where golf meets a great time. We're a high-energy sports entertainment venue where every shift is different, every guest brings their own energy, and the people who work here make it all happen. If you're looking for a place to grow, have fun, and be part of something bigger than a job description, you're in the right place.
WHAT WE’RE SEEKING
Are you someone who loves making people feel welcome the moment they walk in? Do you thrive on high-energy service, know how to read a guest, and genuinely enjoy turning a good time into a great one? Can you take a food and beverage order, upsell with ease, and keep a bay running smoothly all at once?
We’re looking for a Bay Host who brings real hospitality to every interaction. You’ll be the face of the guest experience in the bays — serving food and drinks, explaining the game, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile. If you love people, love a fast pace, and love being the reason someone’s visit was unforgettable, this is your role.
THE ROLE
The Bay Host is Topgolf’s version of a server — but with a lot more energy and a lot more fun. You’ll host guests in the hitting bays, delivering best-in-class food and beverage service while keeping the experience exciting from the first greeting to the final goodbye. This role requires menu knowledge, responsible alcohol service, and the kind of genuine hospitality that makes guests come back.
This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to work during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Host the Bay
Greet every guest immediately and warmly, setting the tone for an exceptional visit from the first moment
Guide guests through the menu, explain the game and safety rules, and introduce them to food and beverage options that enhance their experience
Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately, quickly, and in line with Topgolf’s service standards
Upsell premium menu items and experiences to maximize the guest’s visit and venue revenue
Own the Guest Experience
Ensure the bay is clean, organized, and ready before guests arrive and throughout their visit
Engage guests consistently — check in, anticipate needs, and make sure they always have what they need to enjoy themselves
Handle cash carefully and accurately, and observe all rules of responsible alcohol service
Keep smiling, make eye contact, and bring positive energy to every interaction
Keep the Venue Running at Its Best
Clear and clean bays promptly between guests to maintain Topgolf’s standards of cleanliness and presentation
Communicate with Service Support and kitchen teams to ensure food and drink delivery is seamless
Flag any safety concerns, guest issues, or equipment problems to management immediately
Demonstrate Topgolf's Core Values in every interaction: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE
You’ll be at the center of the guest experience in one of the most high-energy entertainment venues around
You’ll earn tips on top of your hourly pay by delivering hospitality that guests genuinely appreciate
You’ll grow your service skills in a fast, fun environment with a team that has your back
You’ll work in a place where great food, great drinks, and a great time go hand in hand
CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS
Being Resilient | You stay warm, energetic, and guest-focused even when the bays are slammed and the night is long.
Remains calm and professional during peak service, high-volume events, and unexpected challenges
Recovers quickly when things go sideways and helps the team do the same
Manages the heat, literally and figuratively, without letting pressure affect the team's performance or morale
Brings the same positive energy to the last guest of the night as to the first
Communicates Effectively | You read guests, listen for what they need, and keep the whole bay area coordinated as one team.
Listens to guests attentively and confirms orders accurately so nothing gets missed
Communicates clearly with kitchen and support staff to keep food and drink delivery timely and accurate

Understands that hospitality is the product and takes pride in delivering it at the highest level every shift
Always looking for small ways to make a guest’s visit more memorable — and acts on them
Drives Results | You take ownership of your section and bring your best service every shift because guests deserve nothing less.
Holds themselves to high standards for service quality, bay cleanliness, and guest engagement every shift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Let's be real — this isn't your typical desk job! Here's what you'll need to do to thrive in this role:
Ability to remain on your feet and in motion for extended periods throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and moving throughout the venue floor and multi-level bay areas; this role requires sustained physical stamina to deliver continuous guest service throughout the duration of each shift
Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds independently, including food and beverage trays, supplies, and equipment across multiple levels of the venue
Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, and multi-level areas of the venue while carrying food and beverages to guest bays throughout the shift

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a high-energy, high-volume venue environment that may include moderate to high levels of background noise
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining focus, service standards, and guest engagement under pressure
Sounds like a fit? We can’t wait to meet you!
