BDC Platform Administrator

Core administration

  • Datasphere: space creation and management, space quotas, users and scoped roles, connections, DP Agent configuration, monitoring
  • SAP Analytics Cloud: tenant administration, teams and roles, content management, system monitoring
  • BDC cockpit: formation management, tenant provisioning, consumption monitoring
  • BTP cockpit: subaccounts, entitlements, service instances, service keys, trust configuration

Security and identity

  • Role collections, scoped roles and the mapping between IdP groups and platform roles
  • SAP Cloud Identity Services / Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning basics
  • Technical user and service key lifecycle, including rotation
  • Principle-of-least-privilege design for space and tenant roles

Transport and connectivity

  • SAP Cloud Transport Management: nodes, routes, transport requests, Content Agent
  • Datasphere and SAC content transport mechanics and their known limitations
  • SAP Cloud Connector: setup, mapping, certificate handling
  • Source system connectivity — S/4HANA, BW, HANA, plus common third-party connections

Operational

  • Incident and change management within whatever ITSM the organisation runs
  • Runbook authoring and troubleshooting discipline
