Internal Job Posting

Eligibility: Current SCI employees only

Employment: Full-time, hourly

Location: Bloomington office; fully onsite

Reports to: Helen Bridwell, Revenue Cycle Specialist / Executive Administrative Assistant

Compensation: $17 - $24/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking a current employee to assist with billing preparation, documentation review, staff communication, and administrative coordination. Prior medical billing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist with billing preparation and follow-up.

Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Communicate with staff about missing information and needed corrections.

Coordinate billing-related deadlines and workflows; track tasks through completion.

Maintain organized records and documentation.

Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; professional written and verbal communication; basic computer proficiency; ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and follow through on assignments.

Preferred: Medical billing or healthcare administrative experience; experience with spreadsheets, databases, schedules, or complex workflows.

Occasional Support in Current Service Area

We hope the selected employee will be willing to provide occasional PRN coverage in their current service area as needed. For example, an RBT may help cover ABA sessions, and a PAC provider may help cover PAC services. Coverage will be coordinated with supervisors and will remain within the employee’s qualifications and training.

Success in This Role

This role is a good fit for someone who is dependable, organized, proactive, comfortable following up with others, and able to identify missing details before they become problems.
