BIM Modeller - Civil 3D

Position: BIM Modeller – Civil 3D | Energy / Renewables

• •Develop and maintain accurate Autodesk Civil 3D models, drawings and BIM deliverables for energy, renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
• •Create and update models for sites, access roads, platforms, grading, drainage, utilities, trenches, cable routes and associated civil works .
• •Develop surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, assemblies, feature lines, grading objects and pipe networks .
• •Produce coordinated plans, profiles, sections, details, schedules and drawing packages from Civil 3D models.
• •Support earthworks, cut-and-fill calculations, quantity take-offs, constructability reviews and design coordination .
• •Coordinate civil models with structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural, geotechnical and other disciplines .
• •Participate in model reviews, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination meetings .
• •Work with Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 and other Common Data Environment platforms.
• •Ensure models comply with BIM Execution Plans, CAD standards, client requirements and document-control procedures .
• •Perform model audits, quality checks, file maintenance and self/peer reviews before issuing deliverables.
• •Coordinate Civil 3D outputs with Revit, GIS, survey and point-cloud information where required.
• •Provide practical Civil 3D guidance and support to junior modellers and project team members .
• •Qualification: Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Design, Drafting, BIM, Construction Technology or related discipline.
• •Experience: Typically 5–8 years of relevant civil modelling/design documentation experience with substantial hands-on Autodesk Civil 3D exposure.
• •Essential Skills: Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D and strong AutoCAD; experience with surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, pipe networks and external references.
• •Experience in energy, solar, BESS, substations, transmission, utilities, highways or major infrastructure projects will be advantageous.
