Overview of this Position:

Trains to perform qualified visual inspections of all products and devices manufactured under the guidelines of established procedures and cGMP regulations under the guidance of a Qualification Trainer, Inspection Line Lead, Inspection Shift Lead, and/or Inspection Supervisor. The Inspection Technician’s secondary responsibility is to support in all other routine tasks within the Finishing Operations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• •High School Diploma/GED.
• •Ability to pass a vision screening that checks 20/20 corrected or uncorrected vision and color-blindness.
• •Ability to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
• •Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Requirements:

• •Associate degree, and/or equivalent.
• •Knowledgeable of GMP standards and the ability to follow CFR guidelines.
• •Previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• •Learn manual or semi-automated inspection to find particles, fibers, or glass shards in liquid vials and syringes. Learn how to check for container integrity.
• •Assist in equipment preparation, stocking, staging, and production area/equipment sanitization duties as needed.
• •Ability to stay highly focused during repetitive, high-concentration visual checks.
• •Ability to read, interpret, and relate Standard Operating Procedures and Quality standards.
• •Must be detail oriented.
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• •Consistently/Frequently – see (vision), hear, ability to read and write, ability to interpret information, basic math, reading and writing in English.
• •Excellent time management skills.
• •Actively participate in Continuous Quality and Safety Improvements.
