A working coordinator role focused on supporting housekeeping and facility cleaning operations to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment. Coordinates day-to-day housekeeping activities, provides guidance and support to assigned team members, and actively performs cleaning duties to support operational needs and maintain facility standards.
Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and support the completion of routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning records, logs, and documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping-related concerns, responding to requests, communicating priorities, and escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain and update housekeeping documentation, cleaning schedules, logs, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with the coordination of housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, office, and common areas to support facility cleanliness and operational requirements.
- Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment to ensure team members have the resources needed to perform their duties.
- Run basic reports, complete required documentation, and assist in gathering data related to housekeeping performance, inspections, and cleaning activities.
- Support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and facility cleaning standards.
- Participate in and promote 5S, safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and department expectations.
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as a working member of the team, including providing coverage during employee absences, vacancies, and periods of increased workload.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 6 months of housekeeping and training experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
- Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week
- Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.
- Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$16.00 - $23.25 Hourly
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
