Hiring Immediately: Facility Maintenance Technician

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual who takes pride in keeping a facility safe, organized, and operating at its best. This position is responsible for a variety of general building, property, and equipment maintenance needs. Automotive experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• •Perform light HVAC repairs and routine filter maintenance
• •Maintain dealership buildings and grounds
• •Perform parking lot maintenance, including pavement and parking-space marking
• •Complete minor plumbing and drain repairs
• •Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance
• •Identify facility issues and assist with repairs before they become larger problems
• •Maintain workshop, maintenance, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition
• •Assist with snow removal, salting, and other winter weather responsibilities
• •Perform other general facility maintenance duties as needed

Requirements

• •At least 1 year of experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or a related field preferred
• •Strong general handyman and mechanical skills
• •Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
• •Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• •Ability to successfully complete a background check
• •Legally authorized to work in the United States
• •Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties associated with facility maintenance
• •Dependable, organized, and willing to respond to changing facility needs
• •No automotive repair experience required
