Building Services Technician

Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 39 Hours per week

Overview of the role;

The successful candidate would have responsibility for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, which could include, but is not limited to: lamp replacement; carpentry work; plumbing; painting; flooring; general facility repairs.

Role Responsibilities;

Building Fabric - wall repairs, painting, ceiling/floor tiles - broken tiles, damaged vinyl, carpet tiles Wall mountings - whiteboards, snap frame.

Carpentry Works – shelves, doors, furniture, storage units.

Washroom Maintenance - taps, cisterns, toilet.

Building audits - assisting with room set-ups, furniture movement.

Permit to work and client procedures are strictly adhered to.

Participate fully in all required on-site training.

Ensure that all Veolia company procedures are adhered to and that quality standards are always maintained.

Establish and develop opportunities to diversify or increase contractual services for the client.

Requirements for the role

5 + years' handyman or related experience

Attention to detail Knowledge in many aspects of repair & maintenance work

Ability to work alone and within a team
