• •Based at our Ayr Depot, located at Waggon Road, Ayr
• •Salary – £17.32 per hour, 39 hours per week
• •Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (flexible)

What you’ll be doing:

• •Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across our fleet of buses and coaches
• •Working on vehicle systems including lighting, wiring, batteries, charging systems, and control units
• •Supporting maintenance and inspection activities to ensure vehicles meet DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards
• •Using diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve issues
• •Assisting with the introduction and maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles
• •Completing all work safely, accurately, and in line with company procedures
• •Collaborating with technicians and workshop teams to keep vehicles road-ready

What we’re looking for:

• •Relevant qualifications in electrical or automotive engineering (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• •Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems (PSV, HGV, automotive, rail, or plant backgrounds welcomed)
• •Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• •A proactive, safety-first approach and attention to detail
• •Confidence using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
• •A team player with good communication skills
• •A full UK driving licence
