We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements discovery and translate business needs into high-quality user stories for the implementation and commissioning of an on-premises Data Lakehouse on Cloudera CDP 7.3.1, leveraging Medallion and Lambda (batch, streaming, and serving) architectures. Working across retail and corporate banking domains, the role requires ensuring alignment with SAMA regulatory and compliance standards, facilitating knowledge transfer sessions, conducting stakeholder interviews, defining clear and testable acceptance criteria, and supporting the Test Lead during validation and UAT activities. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills are critical to success.

Your Role

A. Discovery & Requirements

• •Lead KT sessions and stakeholder interviews across banking, risk, compliance, and operations teams.
• •Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• •Prepare BRDs, FRDs, data contracts, and source-to-target mappings.

B. Backlog & User Stories

• •Translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability.
• •Manage and prioritize the product backlog while controlling scope changes.
• •Ensure alignment with Medallion, Lambda, and data governance frameworks.

C. Banking Domain & Compliance

• •Provide expertise across retail and corporate banking domains.
• •Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations, data governance, and audit requirements.

D. Stakeholder Collaboration

• •Collaborate with architects, data modelers, and development teams to align business and technical needs.
• •Facilitate workshops, drive decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations.

E. Testing & Validation

• •Support test planning, UAT execution, and acceptance validation.
• •Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL.

F. Agile Delivery

• •Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain Jira/Confluence artifacts.
• •Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

• •Proven experience in Business Analysis, and relevant experience in banking/financial services.
• •Strong understanding of retail & corporate banking processes and products (loans, cards, deposits, wealth management).
• •Familiarity with SAMA regulatory/compliance expectations and audit readiness in KSA contexts.
• •SQL proficiency for data validation and requirement verification (joins, aggregations, basic analytics/window functions preferred).
• •Hands‑on experience with agile SDLC (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Confluence, and story writing with acceptance criteria.
• •Excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management; proven liaison skills across business and technical teams.
• •Strong documentation discipline; ability to create clear BRDs/FRDs, RTMs, and workshop outputs.
