Central Operations' mandate is to centralize all tasks that can be centralized across Japan's 200+ last mile node network. Thanks to CO, tasks can be standardized, optimized and automated, resulting in better delivery experience for customers, at a lower cost. We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive the use of AI and automation in analytics, powering executive-level decision making for Central Operations. In this role you will define and implement scalable data solutions, diving deep into operational metrics across capacity planning, forecasting, and real-time delivery execution. - Drive continuous improvement of analytical processes by automating manual reporting, scaling self-service access, and simplifying insight delivery for operational stakeholders across multiple functions
- Architect data solutions for new business initiatives, ensuring analytics foundations are reusable and scalable from day one
- Define metrics frameworks, anomaly detection mechanisms, and feedback loops that surface operational risks and opportunities to leadership through business reviews and real-time alerting
- Recognize and adopt best practices in BI engineering: data integrity, data modelling, test design, validation, documentation, and operational excellence
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, conduct technical assessments, and influence BI best practices across partner teams in the organization
