JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary:
This role is responsible for procuring raw materials, components, and packaging required to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures material availability while balancing inventory levels, quality, and supplier performance. This position works closely with production planning, operations, logistics, engineering, and suppliers to maintain uninterrupted production in a manufacturing environment.. T here is no relocation or sponsorship available for this position. This position is 100% onsite and candidate must be local to the TX area.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the purchase of components and supplier to meet production schedules and customer demand.
- Perform cycle counts, monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to maintain appropriate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Review replenishment recommendations and adjust purchasing plans based on demand, production requirements, and supplier constraints.
- Expedite critical orders and resolve material shortages to prevent production disruptions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and service expectations are met.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions related to delivery, quality, or service issues.
- Coordinate with receiving, production, scheduling, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred
- 6-8 years combine experience in Sourcing, Operations, Logistics
- Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, data mining, and data reporting.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Seeks opportunities to learn from others with more experience and tenure in the organization
- Actively participates in creation and progress of Individual Development Plan
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem-solving and continuous improvement
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with high-volume production planning
Effective communication skills through written, verbal, and listening techniques
Experience with PowerBI, ERP, Excel, preferred
5-10% Travel to other Andersen location in GA, AZ, WI, TX, OH as needed.
COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package role are expected to earn $68K-$102K annually.
PAY RANGE:
$69,840.00 - $104,760.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
