Job Description:

• Personal Care Aide | Caregiver | Palatine, IL

Language Requirement: Must speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India.

Case Details

• •Palatine, Illinois
• •Approximately six-hour shifts, five to six days per week
• •Schedule may be shared between two caregivers
• •Familiarity with Indian culture is preferred

As a Personal Care Aide, You’ll Contribute to Our Success in the Following Ways:

• •Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• •Assist the client with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• •Encourage safe movement and activity in accordance with the established care plan
• •Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• •Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks
• •Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• •Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment

What Is Required?

• •Ability to speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India
• •High school diploma or GED preferred
• •Minimum 6 months of personal or professional caregiving experience
• •Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• •Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home
• •Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist the client as needed, up to 50 pounds
