As a Cashier, you will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers.

Why You’ll Love This Role

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use technology to complete tasks and transactions
  • Create “WOW” moments with positive, lasting customer interactions
  • Accurately process purchases and handle payments responsibly
  • Maintain a friendly, outgoing presence with strong eye contact and body language
  • Answer customer questions and provide helpful solutions
  • Build relationships that encourage customers to return

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technology
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot when needed
  • Passion for working with customers
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Positive, friendly attitude
