Job Location:
Vishay Electro Films is located in the beautiful ocean state of Rhode Island in the city of Warwick. There are 92 employees across three shifts working at our 57,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This role is an on-site position.
Pay:
$19/hour
What you will be doing:
- Sets up and operates multiple ceramic machines.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications.
- Enter all pertinent information required into production logs and complete work travelers and routers.
- Conduct visual inspection of trimmed parts.
- Ability to solder is a plus, willing to train.
- Will occassionally work with microscopes.
- Assumes the ability to read blueprints and interpret drawing specifications.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Ability to read internal specifications.
What you will bring along:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required.
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
