Job Description:

• 1.Codes and abstracts inpatient accounts on a daily basis using computer generated work ques.
• 2.Competent in coding of Inpatient Records and assigning appropriate DRGs.
• 3.Populates correct discharge disposition.
• 4.Generated physician queries for incomplete documentation.
• 5.Works directly with CDI on coding coordination with coding assignment.
• 6.Knowledgeable in Coding Clinics and Inpatient Coding Guidelines.
• 3 years in coding and/or abstracting
