Change Management Consultant
Location: Houston, Texas | Practice Area: Business Consulting | Type: Permanent

The Role
At Capco, we help our clients navigate complex business and technology transformations. Our consultants work alongside client teams to solve critical challenges, enable meaningful change, and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
As a Change Management Consultant , you’ll work at the intersection of people, process, and technology, supporting organizations as they prepare for, adopt, and sustain change across large-scale transformation initiatives.
You’ll take ownership of defined change management activities and deliverables, build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced consulting environment. Your work may span digital and technology implementations, operating model change, process improvement, organizational redesign, mergers and acquisitions, and workforce transformation.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute change management strategies and plans for complex business and technology transformation initiatives, applying Prosci methodologies and the ADKAR model where appropriate.
Conduct stakeholder, change impact and readiness assessments, translating findings into practical engagement and mitigation strategies.
Develop targeted communications, training and enablement activities that build awareness, understanding, commitment and adoption across impacted stakeholder groups.
Partner with client leaders, managers, project teams and subject matter experts to identify change risks, address resistance and strengthen leadership alignment.
Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions, while defining and tracking change readiness, engagement, adoption and effectiveness measures.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or a related field, together with Prosci Change Management Certification .
2–5 years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, business transformation, management consulting or a related discipline.
Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformations or technology implementations, with practical knowledge of stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, communications, training, readiness and adoption.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to turn complex business challenges into actionable change strategies.
Ability to build effective relationships across organizational levels, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a client-facing environment, including client-site work and travel as required.
Bonus Points For
Experience within a management consulting or professional services environment.
Experience supporting ERP, CRM, cloud, AI, digital, operating model or workforce transformation initiatives.
Experience working within Financial Services, Energy, Healthcare, Retail or Public Sector organizations.
Knowledge of Agile delivery and project management methodologies and experience supporting complex cross-functional business and technology programs.
Additional relevant certifications such as PMP, CCMP, Agile, Scrum or Lean Six Sigma.
