Job Summary:

During a hospital stay, the Chaplin provides spiritual care and guidance to patients, families and staff.

In this role, you will coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy as needed. You will also attend monthly spiritual care meetings .

Within the department, you are required to serve as on-call chaplain throughout each month .

REQUIREMENTS

• •Master’s degree in related field required or working towards such degree
• •4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full time positions , 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for part time positions
• •Candidates with 2 or more years experience as a chaplain within the healthcare field may be considered for contingent roles

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• •2 years as a chaplain in a healthcare related field
• •APC or NACC or equivalent
