Chief of Staff to the CEO – Focus Finance (m/f/d)

To place our rapid growth on a solid financial foundation, we are looking for a Chief of Staff with a focus on Finance (m/f/d) who reports directly to our CEO. In this role, you are a key sparring partner for the management team and an absolute doer. You proactively take responsibility for complex financial topics and the management of important strategic initiatives to ensure that our internal processes keep pace with our scaling.

• Your mission
• •Independent project management & execution: You take ownership of strategic growth and financial topics and drive them from conception to successful implementation – always with the goal of making Impower more efficient and data-driven.

Strategy & Operations Support: Beyond finance, you support the CEO and the broader management team on internal strategy, optimization, and operational topics. This includes preparing high-impact internal and external presentations and conducting in-depth market analyses.

Business Planning & Analytics: You are our Master of Numbers. You independently build financial models, create business plans, forecasts, and in-depth ad-hoc analyses, which you proactively translate into clear recommendations for action.

Professionalization of the accounting process: As we grow, our requirements increase. You analyze the status quo, optimize our accounting processes, and elevate our workflows to a highly professional, scalable level, leveraging state of the art technology.

OKRs & QBRs: You are responsible for the introduction and tracking of the OKR process as well as the preparation and moderation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

KPIs & Transparency: You are responsible for tracking our key SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC/LTV, Magic Number, Rule of 40, Lead Times, etc.) and regularly exchange ideas with the team leads on these topics. You generate new insights and independently ensure that management can steer the company based on facts at all times.

• Your profile
• •Must-have: Brilliant analytical skills. You have an excellent understanding of numbers, extremely strong analytical abilities, and in-depth financial modeling is second nature to you.

You bring at least 5 years of solid professional experience in a highly numbers- and analytics-driven environment – ideally in consulting, controlling, or a strategic finance role within a dynamic SaaS/scale-up.

Successfully completed a degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.

Digital & AI affinity: You are highly tech-savvy, experienced with modern digital tools, and actively know how to leverage AI to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.

Doer mentality: You don't wait for instructions; instead, you proactively identify inefficiencies and have the drive to implement solutions hands-on.

Structured, independent way of working, as well as excellent German and English skills.
