Make a Difference for Children, Families, and Child Care Providers! Join UCAP as a Child Care Outreach & Equity Specialist and help strengthen child care across our communities. You'll work alongside providers, families, and community partners to expand child care opportunities, promote inclusive practices, and support a stronger future for children and families.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Support Providers: Help child care providers and caregivers start, grow, and succeed through coaching, mentoring, technical assistance, and connections to valuable resources.

Lead Outreach Efforts: Build awareness of child care opportunities, recruit new providers, and guide individuals interested in opening or expanding a child care business.

Build Community Connections: Create partnerships with local organizations, schools, licensors, and community groups to expand support and resources for families and providers.

Advance Equity & Inclusion: Champion inclusive practices and help ensure services, outreach, and resources are accessible and welcoming to all communities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

MINIMUM: 25 hours of Achieve/Develop-approved early childhood training within the past five years (or willingness to complete immediately upon hire).

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, HumanServices, or related field preferred.

Experience working with young children, families, child care providers, or community-based programs preferred.

Salary range of $20.57 – $31.54/hour – plus benefits!
