Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

● Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment

● Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods

● Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately

● Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and preparation of meals according to recipes and dietary requirements

● Cook food items using various cooking methods such as baking, grilling, and sautéing

● Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety

● Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service

● Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, and grills

● Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.

● Have experience in restaurants and have (or willing to obtain) a food handler’s card.

● Must have the capability to bend, stretch, and reach for objects. Ability to frequently use stairs, handle or move boxes of product/supplies, push/pull, reach, squat, kneel, ascend/descend, bend and/or twist.

● Should be able to constantly communicate and have visual acuity near and far.

● Assist with events as needed.

● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
