Claims Intern - Medical Management

Essential Functions:

• •Summer paid internship working in one of EMC’s branch claims departments
• •Assists the claims team in the investigation, negotiation and disposition of minor multi-line claims
• •Learns EMC culture, business processes and products
• •Gains an understanding of the insurance claims process

Education & Experience:

• •Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, communications, healthcare, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or another related field
• •Completion of junior year preferred
• •Interest in property casualty insurance career
• •Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
