Class A Driver

Description

The Dem-Con Trucking truck driver position is responsible for driving trucks or tractor-trailers for collection services to ensure our customers’ expectations are met in transporting or disposing various materials to the appropriate location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• •Operates heavy duty commercial trucks and tractor-trailers
• •Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
• •Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• •Maintains all required certifications required by DOT
• •Adheres to all OSHA and company safety programs
• •Maintains and protects all property
• •Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
• •Maintains various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations
• •Fuels truck at the end of each workday
• •Operates front end loader/ skid steer on as needed basis
• •Aids in keeping Customer location and/or facility clean by picking up litter around site
• •Communicates effectively with management, dispatch and all division employees
• •Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• •Have a valid Minnesota CDL Class A
• •Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license
• •Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• •Driver must be 21 years old per DOT.
